Mike was born in Dachau and raised in Unterschleißheim, and naturally grew up playing football taking after his father who played from 1975-1983 in the Bayernliga, the second highest league in Germany. Influenced by his upbringing and his admiration as a FC Bayern Munich fan, Mike would play football anytime he could. It didn’t matter if it rained, shined, or snowed, or even if he was on vacation in Castelldefels where he would visit frequently with his family, if there was a ball around, he was playing. These days he really enjoys playing as midfielder where he can help his team on both sides of the pitch!

These qualities of versatility and flexibility, as with on the field, Mike brings a great disposition and proactivity to everything he does in ensuring great football experiences to everyone he shares the pitch with. When he isn’t on the field, Mike really enjoys making homemade whiskey, playing table football, barbecuing with friends, or spending time in nature.

Mike holds degrees in Production Design from the Zurich University of the Arts (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste) after graduating with a B.A. in 2018 and an M.A. in 2020. All throughout his college career, as with his childhood, Mike always made sure to maintain a healthy balance between his studies and football and continues playing every chance he gets.

After quite some time as a CeleBreak player and a lifetime of football experience, Mike Kesch was introduced to our community in 2019 and after accumulating over 200+ games and showcasing the very principles and standards that we at CeleBreak live by, he is now Lead Match Host in Munich.
